Jessie Doll

Skye just had her 7th birthday and after a great deal of talking about, planning and shopping for High School musical clothes it turns out that it was the Jessie doll from Toy Story 2 that she really wanted. After the disappointement of not wanting to dress as Sharpie for Halloween or even as an understated Gabriella I should have seen the signs. But it was only last weekend that she sat for almost 4 hours and watched the High School Musical DVD’s, both 1 & 2, so I thought High School Musical clothes were definitely back on the shopping list.
What do I ever know about shopping especially for girls. I’m beginning to panic now about what to start buying for Christmas as I already had my shopping list set out. Well, when I say I had the shopping set out, what I really mean is that Emma has it all worked out and I’m invited along to carry the bags and made to feel that somehow my input did have some weight.
At the moment however I don’t think getting anything to do with High School Musical show is such a good thing. One of her birthday presents was in fact a Hannah Montana t-shirt and you would have thought it was the best present ever, wait maybe it was. Maybe I’ve got this all wrong and its not High School Musical clothes she wants but Hannah Montana clothes.
Well at least I’ve got something else to work on now.
