Welcome to The Children’s Den. This is the first post of many that you will find here eventually but like everything else in the world you need to start somewhere.

So what’s this blog all about then? Well as you can probably see at the moment it’s not got a lot going on but in the coming months and years that will all change. These pages will be the ramblings, reviews and opinions of what our children liked as they grow up. Some of it will be written to help parents out with bored children and some of it will be the opinion of our children.

What will we be writing about? In a word everything! If it can be found in a child’s den then we will probably write about it. An example of some of the posts we have in mind include arts and crafts for kids, Disney DvD reviews, board games for families, electronic games now one of them has a Nintendo DS, computer games and educational software, dressup outfits for boys and girls, the list could go on and on but in short if it’s in the Children’s Den we’ll probably write about it at some point.

So who are WE? the easiest way to find out would be to jump over to the About Us page but in brief WE are the dad Brian, the Mum Emma, the oldest daughter Skye (6 years old ) and the youngest son Reefe (3 years old). Skye is at primary school and loves learning everything except numbers, Reefe is at pre-school and loves averything messy and noisy. What mum and dad do is boring and one thing we don’t want to do here is talk about boring stuff.

If you’ve just found us and would like updates when we post something new you can subscribe from the boxes below. This is only a temporary measure until WE work out how to let our friends and relatives know when we post something new. If you do gives us your email we will never give it away to anyone or use it to email you about anything else other than updates to The Children’s Den, i hate spam and have lost so many email addresses to spammers.
